Some information to follow re: yesterday's meet and the week ahead...

Saturday, May 23 vs. Woodforest Wave Breakers.  This meet had its challenges, including trying to beat the potential weather issues we thought were coming in the afternoon and power blips, but we showed up and did our best, and were happy to be able to complete the entire meet! Congratulations to all of our swimmers who achieved new best times and made great progress! 

Results from yesterday's meet have been added to the Otters website under Swim Meets > Meet Results.

Next week: Declaration is open for next Saturday's meet, which is "home" vs Woodlands Riptides. Reminder: Declaration closes Wednesday at 8:00pm. Volunteer jobs will open at 8pm tonight. This is also the meet where we hold our Silent Auction as a fundraiser for Senior Scholarships. Info has been sent about what items we are looking for to make the auction item baskets. Please contribute if you're able!

Practice Schedule - Oak Ridge Otters

Sprint Sizzler is next Sunday and Monday. All entries have been finalized and sent in to meet organizers. Parents of athletes swimming at SS, I have sent an email with what you need to know for that meet. 

More Vol Opps coming soon! Added to the schedule on the website -- Swim-Along Fundraiser June 3, Spaghetti Dinner Carb Load before Divisionals June 12, Team Awards Dinner June 17, and Pool Equipment Move Out date TBD. All of these team events will also include volunteer positions, which will be released the Sunday before the event happens at 8pm.
