Clarification for Divisional Eligibility
Hi Otter Families!
I've gotten several emails asking about Divisional Meet eligibility since many of you are trying to get in to declare your swimmers for Saturday. Here are the specifics:
1 - Swimmer has to swim in 2 NWAL Certified Dual Meets. This does not include Time Trials. Any swim is considered a 'splash' and makes that meet count. (ie: Even if they only swam one race and DQ'ed in said race.)
2 - Once a swimmer is eligible for Divisionals, they can enter any three individual races for which they have an official NWAL time.
Right now, Saturday's swim meet against the Cudas is not closed out, which means times have not pushed over to swimmer's profiles - basically, according to the system, that meet hasn't happened yet. Once we finish tomorrow, everything with transfer, and that will affect eligiblity if it was your swimmer's second official meet or specific races if this meet gave them a time they hadn't previously gotten this season.
To make a long story short -- if they are not already showing eligibility for Divisionals, that may change tomorrow, and if it doesn't perhaps the above explains why.
Hope that is clear as mud. ;) Understand if you still have questions, so let me know.
